(GEMS RADIO)—The 90s ska punk rock outfit No Doubt brought back the nostalgia in their set at Coachella. They began with “Hella Good” and closed it off with “Spiderwebs”. Lead singer Gwen Stefani said it took over nine years to get the band together again due to family.  “Things change when you have two babies,” Stefani told Nylon Magazine in a recent interview. “There was nothing left in me. Irish post punk band Fontaines D.C. have unveiled their new single “Starburster” off their upcoming LP Romance, out August 23 on XL. Besides some of the punk elements, the song has some trip hop elements to it, which is an ode to The Prodigy. (GEMS RADIO)—Courtney Love is not having the best day. In the latest interview with The Standard, she calls out Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, and other women in the modern pop space. She calls Taylor Swift “not interesting”, doesn’t like Beyoncé’s music, and says her and Madonna are at odds for whatever reason. In a separate interview on L7’s Donita Sparks, her speech was slurred. Love, the widow of Kurt Cobain, promised new music by the end of last year and it still hasn’t arrived, but she does have a new podcast called Women on BBC6.
